April Lain, M.Ed. - Therapist
April Lain has a Masters of Education in Counseling and has been a certified/licensed Substance Abuse Counselor since 1990. She possesses a thorough working knowledge and personal experience of the impact of addiction and substance abuse on families and young adults. Her work experience is diverse, ranging from Juvenile Corrections and Child Protective Services to outpatient substance abuse treatment and private practice. She was also the Treatment Supervisor of residential substance abuse treatment programs for pregnant and parenting women and their children in Seattle and Yakima, WA. She uses a holistic approach in her therapy, believing in healing the mind, body and spirit. April is also a Level 1- EAGALA certified equine therapist.
