Lindsay Reunites with Dad
The long time feud between Lindsay Lohan and her father seems to be over. Her father reportedly visited her in rehab yesterday. This is very positive for Lindsay as addiction is a "family disease" and working things out with loved ones is vital to a successful recovery.
Michael Lohan’s much anticipated reunion with his estranged daughter finally happened in the confinement of the rehabilitation clinic where Lindsay Lohan has been recovering over the last several weeks.

A huge part of my early recovery was the mending of key relationships.
Hopefully her father (who has also had hsi battles with addiction), can be a role model and guide at this time.

When I consider the difficulty that our residents and families often have with disclosure of personal issues, I can only imagine how dificult it must be for Lindsay to deal with relationship and addiction issues with paparazzi in hot pursuit.

After coming to Gatehouse and spending a few months here I started calling my dad on my sunday phone calls. We started out slow and talked about the weather and horses. After two years sober I now have a great relationship with my dad. We can now talk about anything and have a good relationship together. I this could not have happened without my recovery.
