First, it’s important to know that there are several different kinds of urine tests. A traditional urine test, or urinalysis, will check to see if you are healthy and will only reveal any health problems or complications you might have.
If urine is being tested specifically for drugs, then it will check for a specific substance or the processed remains of a substance. Some of these drugs are legally available with a doctor’s prescription. It’s important to ask your doctor if you can discontinue the medication for the test or get written confirmation from them to let your employer know you are legally taking the drug for medical reasons.

i took a drug test for probation note i take at least 3 to 4 drug tests a month im also haveing a baby in 2 months but i was giveing tylenol #3 for my teeth witch also has codiene in it i went and took a drug test and it came back possitive for morphine is that normal will it do that ,now im waitin on a warrent and i know i didnt do anything
NO, do NOT think that acid won’t show up, it most definitely WILL, and for a long time !!! It’s one of the drugs that stays the longest in your urine, do not believe bs on internet. I know by experience that it’s still there even a month later.
Raechel – Acid is LSD, which is up on the list in the post above. As I said previously, the only way to really be sure you pass a drug test is to stay clean. If you abuse drugs and get tested, chances are high you’ll get found out.
Julie – I’m sorry to hear about your situation. If you’re taking Tylenol with Codine, you should have a doctor’s prescription. Give your doctor a call and explain what happened. Marcel – You’re right in the sense that the effects of Acid can be felt months, even a year after the LSD has been put into a person’s system. However, the chemical itself typically leaves the body after a day or so. How long the chemical stays in the body depends. Different drugs leave the body at different rates, because each drug has its own chemical properties and each person’s body has its own chemistry, weight and composition. But, because LSD is such a powerful hallucinogen, a person who abused acid may still feel it later on, even if they don’t take it again and the chemical has left the body. This strange condition often develops into Hallucinogen-induced persisting perceptual disorder.
Julie – If you were given a prescription & were taking what was prescribed you wouldn’t be worried. You would simply show your valid prescription & possibly be tested again. Morphine would not show up if you were only taking Tylenol 3, so there is something fishy going on here. The fact that you are so regularly tested shows that there is worry for you and/or your baby that you’ve been using. Do what is right for your unborn child (who could be born at this point). Turn yourself in & don’t use drugs. How sad for your child.
As said above acid is LCD and will show up in urine tests.
I took a (urine) drug test and Valium showed up in it and I have not taken it, not sure why. I am on Pritiq, Naproxen, Dioclofenac, Clidinium/CL-Diazepoxide, Amitripyline, Cholertyramine,sometimes I take motion sickness pills and Tylenol PM. Can anyone tell me why it may be showing up? It isn’t like I am not going to get a job because of it, I actually donated my urine for a friend to get a job and now she is freaking out about it trying to say I was given it and I never was. I called my doctor but no one was there to answer my question and they are really bad about getting back to me. Thanks.

It depends on the test they give you. A blood test can show the actual concentration of alcohol in your body; however, most urine tests can detect the presence of alcohol in the body. Sometimes it may take an hour or two for alcohol consumed to show up in the urine. That is why breathalyzer tests are popular, because they estimate blood alcohol content quickly without drawing blood.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – the only way to be 100% sure alcohol doesn’t turn up in a urine test is by not drinking alcohol.

codeine could very well show up as morphiene cause if you know the chemical make up of codeine, morphine, and heroin they are only different by a slight bar on each one. generally when they test for the three they test for opiates.. i have been on the methadone clinic for 15 years and used drugs for 25 years. the only way to have a clean urine is not to use. period. saying you have a script from a doctor or a dentist you have nothing to worry about especially if your on papers. my methadone clinic generally doesn’t accept scripts unless you are coming out of the hospital. or something on those lines. you can get away with acting stupid maybe one time or so but they know all users are liers and if you say now your not then your lying. like i said i’ve been around way too long with the drug scene. in this day and age we all want to pass. well unless you know the time it take for your drug of choice to leave your system then you best just not use. i ‘m handicapped, i can hardly walk so i take pain meds. i know when they will be out of my system. i am not using to get high cause the meth over rides all scripts of opiates but the scripts take care of “break through pain”. i have three to five days before i piss that i know i can pretty much take my meds and be alright.

It really depends on the test that they are using. Yes, some urine tests do test for alcohol, but sometimes a urinalysis is done to check a person’s general health. But since you are on probation, and if it is for alcohol use as a minor, then it sounds likely that they are testing you for alcohol. The only way you can be sure that alcohol won’t show up on the tests is to not drink any alcoholic beverages. Hey, I too am on the methadone clinic and it usually isn’t tested for in most drug tests and doesn’t show up as any regular old opiate… the chemical make up is very different even though it IS considered a synthetic opiate. Nonetheless, I was a little confused by your response. You say you are also taking pain killers and know how long it takes for them to be out of your system. Well, despite the fact that you are in debilitating pain, you are breaking the rules of the methadone clinic, I know, if you aren’t prescribed. I’m on a relatively high dose, and I have come to the realization that if you are still in pain and feeling w/d symptoms you probably need a higher dose, and taking blood serums will show the truth. My blood serum was really low so I received a pretty substantial increase which limited my pain from moderate/severe to almost none. I hope you get better (that is if you’re not on prescription pain meds). From what I read, you are obviously taking them by means of self-medication.

Diazepoxide is a benzodiazepine, which is what valium is. My question is, why were you “donating” your urine? That is just as illegal as taking the drug. Your friend who asked you to donate it obviously wasn’t thinking about the trouble you could get in if anyone found out so maybe she got what she deserved.

lsd doesn’t show up on a urine test. Alcohol only shows up the same as a breathalizer. One drink per hour. If you are getting urine tested, you can still take LSD, psilocybin mushrooms, Dextromethorphan (DXM) which is in Robitussin Cough. DXM is a cough suppressant and it makes you trip balls. Also dimenhydrinate or Dramamine, an OTC motion sickness medicine can cause serious hallucinations. That won’t show up. However, all the good stuff like weed and Oxycontin show up. If you’re getting urine tested I’m sorry for you. I’m on probation and it SUCKS but fight the power! trip on cough medicine…
Also Salvia divinorum won’t show up, but that drug is not that fun. I’ve had bad experiences with Dramamine too. You can also abuse Benadryl, but I’ve done more than enough Benedryl in the past year than I should have taken in my whole life. Beware of false positives too. I can’t even use my awesome Vick’s nasal inhaler because it can cause methamphetamines to show up. WTF?!
My husband said he took a couple of my hydrocone for his back pain, he has had prescriptions many times for this, and his job drug tested him like the night after he took them, and fired him becasue he didn’t have a current prescription, so if he went to his Dr/ and got a new prescription for it, is it legal to fire you just like that? It’s not like he takes them daily, he just took a couple the night before due to back pain. Please helpme with this, I think they should allow him to see his Dr. he has been at his job for 8 years. thanks

alcohol does show up on some urine tests. and it can show up for days (sometimes even mouthwash). It is not the alcohol that shows it is a chemical that is produced in your body when the alcohol is metabolized. it is not at all like a breathalizer. there are urine tests that show all otc medications can be detected. even as little as benadryl and robitussin. trust me., i know. don’t take the chance.

dude you’re good. alcohol only stays in your system in a urine test for like the first piss of the morning…so to be safe give yourself 12 hours. trust me i take piss tests twice a week i know…but the only advice i can give because i’m a pothead, a crack head, and a dope junkie..is to just quit all together cuz yeah for the mean time ull get around the urine tests, but after awhile they’ll catch up to ya and you’ll be screwed. that’s what happened to me and i ended up in jail and on house arrest. so please be careful for your sake.

I am taking 30mg tab Morphine, 2mg Ambian at night and roxicodone during the day for break through, I have not used my Roxicodne in a few weeks, I have not needed the break through pain medication. My urine test came back negative, the Medical called asked me to email him over what I was taking, so I just sent him an the email .. Am I not required to show him any proof? Or is he just going to take my word for it.. Also does listing 30mg of Morphine ER cover the Roxicodone and the Ambian in the test or will all three show up seperate?
I am on the methadone program and thye drug test me once a month….Well I have never failed a test since I started 2 years ago..Make a long story short,I was at my Mothers for Xmas and I have privlages 2 x’s a month so I knew I knew I was ok to travel out of state..Well my Mother begged me to stay 2 days longer,I should have been back at the clinic that Monday well I missed Mon & Tues and showed up Wed took my drug test as normal, KNEW I would pass I had done no drugs except my Methadone…Oh The entire time I was at my mothers I had a toothache so I took tons of Generic Rapid Relief Tylenol and Ibuprofen plus some Zythromax,Clove Oil on my tooth,drank tons of Hot Chocolate(my Mother makes the best)..Obviously I failed my drug test cause they said it come back with Opiates..I have not took any pain pills since I started the clinic..I have done wonderful..If I had not done well then I would not have privileges..Is there any reason they could be saying this???I payed tons of money for the test to retested and see what was exactly causing this…Please help me…
Hey, I am a minor on probation of a possession of marijuana charge. Now I have urine tests every once in a while.
Recently, I have been looking for weed substitutes since I cant smoke pot anymore. I was thinking about smoking clovers. Will those show up on urine tests? Also, since my body has a small build, will it take longer for drugs and alcohol to be processed and get out of my system?
Finally, i heard there are certain substances that can clean out your system, and leave you free to pass any drug test. Do those work to clean out pot from my piss?

Ok. Number one I’m pretty sure I don’t care if you do or don’t abuse drugs. I don’t care who you are. Everyone sees the world in their own way, and wishing harm to someone else like that is just a dumb thing to do. It’s a shame that you are to stuck up to see other points of view besides your own. ok here is the deal.
standard urine test looks for heroin(opiates), cocaine, amphetamines, marijuana, pcp, and ecstacy.
Acid will under no circumstances show up on a urine test, it only shows up on spinal taps which are illegal in many places because they may cause paralysis or death.
the other drugs listed generally show up on a different urine test which is rarely used .
oh and acid stays with you for life…it stores up in your spinal cord and can cause “acid flashbacks”. I know this for a fact. I have been on probation multiple times, and have been through classes that teach you about drugs and their duration.
there is no drug test for salvia.
I just started my house arrest of 120 days (90 days w/ good time). The little rule book is all pretty common sense and seems more like they are trying to put fear into a person so they can collect money and not have to pay much attention to the participants. Today they stopped by and gave me a breathalyzer for the first time (only one week in). As a part of the bracelet, it monitors alcohol level in a person so the breathalyzer seems a little overkill. Obviously i wouldn’t chance drinking while wearing this damned thing but I do enjoy smoking. My question is how often was anyone randomly given a U/A? I’d like to partake but I wanna be properly informed. I don’t have any drug charges, possession, anything like that in my history – so i thought they would be less likely to be interested in me. This is in wisconsin btw if anyone has knowledge that wi does things differently. Thanks for the info.
I came across this site looking for information on a rx I just got today and find it funny how there is so much talk about beating the system and the drug test.
I am on probation and get tested when ever my P.O. feels like it. Sometimes it can not be for months and other times it can be 2 weeks in a row. I take a good amount of medications for medical reasons and always expect something to show (but I never take anything without a rx or that I don’t need). For 6 1/2 years I never failed a test.
To cover myself I make sure that my P.O. and my lawyer has a copy of every RX I take.
Bottom line is if you try and beat the system, it will one day beat you. If your taking something because a doctor pricribed it and you need it, no one can violate you for that. So why not just provide a copy of the rx before there is a problem?
Also think about it. You can take a risk and get high, it may even last a few hours depending on what you tak and how much. But if you get cought you can get a nice (cold) room without a view, shitty meal and a boyfriend named bubba. For me the risk is not worth it, I like my freedom (and my girlfriend) too much. If the risk is worth it for you, then no need to ask questions, just get high and post your next message when you get out to let us know if it was worth it.
In 6 1/2 years I seen many people who thought they were smart enough to get over and ended up in jail. They were all wrong. I was smart enough to not take the chance in the first place and I am here to post about it. What does that say to you?
As a person who has been caught and had my life screw up. I highly suggest not doing any of this, it is the best way to not have any shit happen to you and if you’re in the position where you feel like your in trouble i’m sorry it sucks… but the following will not show up on your average rehab or p/o ua
shrooms, rolls, acid, 2c-p, and give alcohol a good day or two to clear out, if you know your gettin tested the next day dont drink hahaha
and thats for your standard test intake at rehab centers and really expensive tests can detect drugs like that and coke and shit so be careful
again the best way is to straight up wait till 21 and drink brohans, screwin yourself b4 you can even legally party sucks and there aint no point once you get caught. good luck, stay clean as you can its hard, but ive gone 3 months and it gets easier everyday, i was a true screw up and now im feelin better about everything and doing better in everything

Hey guys I just bought some products from max fit. For those of you that don’t know about max fit, it is a store like GNC or your typical sports nutrition store. I got this stuff manufactured by british dragon called ANDROPLEX. It is a legal over the counter testosterone booster. Also I bought this stuff called Free Test made by TRIPHARM which is a natural testosterone booster. Go figure I’m like most of the people hear… On Probation!! They are going to give me a standard drug test I think it is the 4 or 5 panel test. I don’t use any drugs and with all this crap going on with these athletes getting in trouble makes me a little nervous. I think what they were using was illegal though. So I’m a little confused weather these enhancers will pick up on my standard drug test. Lol I’m scared to take anything. Please help me out if you actually know the answer to this. Later guys!!!

ApDeCa – It’s tough to say – depend on if you Dr. requests it to detect for all drugs (10 panel) or only a few (4 panel). Be careful with steroids – they are highly addictive. If you get into any trouble with them, we are here to help you get out from under.
Rachel – Chances are you are pretty screwed. In most cases, those drink do not help detox your system any quicker. They simply make you urinate more water and produce a false-negative. Most newer drug test (like the ones the government use) are able to detect when you’ve done this. 6 vicodin and probation sounds like you might have a problem – call us if you want help!

ok I just figured I would check this out, let me warn everyone who thinks shrooms can’t be found in urine. They can because I know someone who went to prison and the tested them and Shrooms came up in the urine test. People said that they can only be tested from a spinal tap, well let me warn you that the can be found in urine and it was 2 weeks after they took them
