"Sherrybaby" is a heart-wrenching story of a young woman, magnificently played by Maggie Gyllenhaal, addicted to heroin and, when released from prison, is trying to cope with the probation system, to regain custody of her young child and deal with her anger as well as her craving for drugs intensified by her family situation.
