Family Communications Department
The family communications representative, or Team Liaison as they are called, is the primary contact for family members once the resident has been admitted to Gatehouse Academy. The Team Liaison will provide general information to the family at an arranged window of time during the week. They also serve as a point of contact where family members can direct their questions. During a resident's stay at Gatehouse Team Liaison assignments may be changed based on the needs of individual residents and staff.
Team Liaison Mission Statement

Stages of Change
The Stages of Change model can be a template for understanding and assessing the progression of addiction recovery. It is not linear model, but a spherical lens through which a parent can better view all that can happen during the stay at Gatehouse Academy. Combined with the common language that comes along with12 Step recovery, the Stages of Change model can serve as a communication tool for you to reference during conversations with your Team Liaison and throughout your Family Workshop process.
