Donald Durham, Ph.D.- Clinical Director
With 19 years of practice, Dr. Don has focused his attention in two areas - marital and family therapy and addictions - primarily eating disorders. In 2000 Don joined the Gatehouse team assuming the position of Clinical Director, having closed his private practice of five years, in Wickenburg. The directorship carries the full responsibility of providing professional and clinical supervision, administrative and developmental leadership to our growing team of therapists, the creation and delivery of the Gatehouse Family Workshops, as well as an individual counseling load. Dr. Don is a past clinical director of New Life Clinics (Scottsdale and Phoenix, Arizona), spent six years as the Senior Vice President of Clinical Services for the Remuda Ranch Center for Anorexia and Bulimia (Wickenburg, Arizona) and has served as the primary consultant in the development of a specialized treatment program for eating disorders. As well, Don held the position of Program Director for the Minerth-Meier Clinic (Richardson, Texas), directing activities for their eating disorder program.
