Kas Page- Residential Director, Women's Program

Kas is a recovering drug addict and alcoholic, and a grateful member of Al-Anon.  She is a  native of Pennsylvania, earning her degree in Addiction Studies from Alvernia College.  She worked for the first ten years of her career at the Caron Foundation.  She is a certified criminal justice specialist, and has been a Pennsylvania Certified Addictions Counselor for 22 years.  Kas has worked personally and professionally with addicts, families affected by addiction, sexuality issues, and eating disorders for 25 years.  Her experience also includes working with addicts in the criminal justice system and working closely with probation officers.  Her personal journey was made possible through twelve step programs, as well as the guidance and direction of a Higher Power.  Kas has found recovery to be the “best game in town”.

Kas is the mother of 5 grown and wonderful children, four beautiful cats, and a “flashy” red motor scooter.  She enjoys a much more peaceful lifestyle, and has grown in the direction of Native American spirituality.  She enjoys weekend road trips with her yellow jeep called “war pony”.  She also loves being near the water, playing in the snow, and sitting on her back porch marveling over double rainbows, breathtaking sunsets, and the stars.
