Gatehouse Academy Releases Guide for Staying Sober After Rehab

Gatehouse Academy has released the second informative article from a series to provide the public with trusted resources. After much demand, they have issued this guide free to the public.

Wickenburg, Arizona (Webwire) April 28, 2008—Gatehouse Academy, the industry’s leading drug and alcohol rehab for teens and young adults, has released its second article from their series of informative guides to the public. The article, “10 Tips for Staying Sober After Rehab,” was put on their website this week. Gatehouse Academy is providing the public with this guide for no cost. It was published under the heading of “articles” on their website.

Gatehouse Academy had many requests for such a guide from their graduates and from people that did not seek treatment at their facility but trusted the professionalism of the rehab based on their reputation and extensive website. “We received many requests from people that did not go to treatment here in addition to the ones from our clients. They said they always found our website informative and they felt that we could provide a great resource for them,” said Jacquie Arcand, the Director of Marketing for Gatehouse Academy.

The article provides tips for those that have left treatment and are finding the readjustment period difficult. “Re-entering mainstream society can be very challenging. Our goal is to provide guidance for anyone seeking it,” Arcand stated.

The article is the second in a series being released to the public for free.

The tips provided range from finding and staying in an aftercare program to having proper nutrition. Many recovering addicts discover that they do not know what to do with themselves once they leave treatment. They must choose to not be around people that are using, which are often their friends.

This informative article provides general guidelines for overcoming that obstacle. It also offers guidance for teens that are in school. They must learn how to deal with peer pressure and many other influences that can adversely affect their recovery. Many of the tips provided are especially for teens and young adults.
