Sky Rosenstein was born in Los Angeles in 1982 and in his own words was “particularly interested in pursuing a career in fast cars, women and anything to take me out of my normal state of existence.” After experimenting with hard drugs for almost a decade, he reached bottom. “My experience shocks people, says Rosenstein, “I have a hard time even talking about the horror of what was my childhood. Today I feel that my near-death experiences help people. I can’t imagine doing anything else but working with the addict/alcoholic and showing them a different way of life.” Rosenstein is an alumni of the Gatehouse Academy Program and now works for the organization.He is presently finishing his certification in Chemical Dependency.
