Arne Stenseth - Information Technology
rne joined the Gatehouse staff in October, 2007. He grew up in North Dakota and attended schools in Minot, ND, and Westby, MT. He has a degree in Chemistry from The Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology.
Arne has worked in various positions in mining, remediation, and energy consultancies and as a researcher and technical writer in the production of informational materials for investors in mining and energy. He has also worked on his family’s farm, as a hod carrier, and in the IT industry.
Arne met the founders of Gatehouse almost at its inception, when the IT department consisted of one overworked desktop computer. For the privilege of being involved (and an occasional dinner), Arne kept that original Gatehouse computer up and running.
Over the years, he moved to Nevada and Washington, as his career moved more toward computers, IT, and the technology in which he has always been interested.
Finally, in early 2007, Arne moved back to Wickenburg, and found himself again in contact with the Gatehouse staff.
It has been a pleasure meeting, working with, and getting to know the many, many new staff members who have come on board since the early days.
He is impressed with the growth of the Gatehouse community, and he is honored to have been hired as a staff member.
Arne enjoys working at Gatehouse and being around the residents and seeing them progress in the program and become sober, successful young adults.
