Dan D. Sours, M.C., L.P.C.
Dan joined the Gatehouse team in 2003 bringing with him 14 years of experience in the treatment and counseling of addicted and dual diagnosed individuals. Dan possesses a Bachelor of Science Business Administration (BSBA) degree (1990) as well as a Master of Counseling (1993) degree both granted from the University of Phoenix . Prior to beginning his Masters Program, Dan was a Mental Health Tech at Scottsdale Camelback Hospital in the Chemical Addictions, Child and Adolescents and in the Sexual Addictions Units. During his internship at the Salvation Army, Dan began addictions counseling, continuing on with his client base for several months following the internship completion. For the past 10 years Dan has worked with the Remuda Ranch Center for Anorexia & Bulimia – 5 years as a Primary and Family therapist; 2 years as the Assistant Program Director; and for his last 3 years Dan held the position of Program Director responsible for all program functions and supervision of 15 Masters Level Therapists. Dan's kindness, empathy and commitment to helping our young adults make him an incredibly vital member of our team. Dan is also a Liscensed Clinical Supervisor by the state of Arizona.
