Ron Northcutt came to the Wickenburg area to work at another treatment facilty after completing a year at the Betty Ford Center.

After discovering the Gatehouse Academy and it's unique way of helping young people gain recovery through the twelve step process he signed on as one of the ranch hands and uses his 7 years of recovery to assist these young people toward recovery.

He is presently working toward his counseling degree and finds working through the twelve step process with young people very rewarding, as well as helping himself stay sober.  He feels that his intervention training also helps him relate to the family, as well as many years in coda and alanon.
