Stacy Ann Aquipel, M.A. - Practicum Therapist
Stacy is a third-year doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Argosy University, Phoenix Campus. Hailing from Heidelberg, Germany, she frequently worked alongside US Armed Forces personnel in office settings. These early experiences eventually led to a summer-long externship at the Veterans Administration Mental Health Clinic in Las Vegas, NV, where she shadowed and assisted the clinic's head psychologist during individual and group therapy sessions with veterans diagnosed with PTSD, head trauma, serious mental illness, and chronic pain. Stacy Ann received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor concentration in Art History from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. Afterwards, she served as a Family Services Specialist for the State of Nevada Division of Welfare and Supportive Services before relocating to Phoenix to attend graduate school. Last year, she served as a Practicum Student Therapist at Southwest Behavioral Health Services in Phoenix and engaged in individual and group therapy with underserved, dually diagnosed clientele. She recently earned her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy. Her interests include culture and diversity issues, existential-humanistic psychotherapy, spirituality, and holistic healing.
